The Valued Data Opportunity Review

What could your company's operating history be worth?

Years of everyday business records may hold more potential than you think. In a 20-minute conversation, we help you see whether yours are worth a closer look.

No record uploads. No passwords. No obligation to proceed. This is a preliminary fit conversation, not a valuation or offer.

YEARS OF OPERATING HISTORYREVIEWOPPORTUNITYONE ORGANIZED BUNDLE

The hidden asset

The records you already keep may be something you've never looked at.

Every engagement leaves a trail: workflows, timelines, ledgers, working papers, scheduling and billing history. Most firms keep it because they have to, and never ask whether it could be useful to anyone else.

Some AI developers research and evaluate models using real-world professional operating data. Whether yours is relevant depends on what you hold, what your agreements and professional obligations allow, and what a purchasing partner would need. The Opportunity Review is where we start to explore that.

Client records belong to your clients and carry confidentiality and professional-conduct duties. We start at the descriptive level: what kinds of systems and history exist, never the records themselves.

Why this matters now

A new kind of demand, and not much guidance for the firms behind the data.

AI developers want real-world data

Public web data shows little about how professional work is actually done, so developers look for other sources.

Few firms have a way to evaluate it

Most firms have no process for judging whether they hold anything relevant, who might ask, or what is appropriate to share.

Preparation comes before any conversation

Rights, provenance and permissions questions come first. Working through them early keeps every decision in your hands.

External spending on AI training data and related services is estimated at roughly $8B–$12B a year across the industry. That is a market-wide estimate, not a statement about what any one company's records are worth.

Daniel, Valued Data

About Daniel

Why Daniel leads this personally.

Daniel is the founder of Valued Data. We started it so established firms could ask a simple question on their own terms: is the operating history we already keep worth a closer look?

Daniel runs every Opportunity Review personally. We'll tell you plainly if we don't see a fit, we won't ask for records, and we won't introduce you to anyone without your written authorization.

FAQs

Straight answers to the first questions.

Who is the buyer, and what is Valued Data’s role?

Valued Data is not the buyer. We provide education, preliminary fit reviews, and introductions. If there is a fit and you authorize it, we introduce you to a purchasing partner who does its own evaluation. We tell you who that partner is, and how we are compensated, before you authorize anything.

How would AI developers use this kind of data?

Typically for research, training and evaluation of AI models. Exactly how any data would be used is a question for the purchasing partner’s terms, and you would see those before agreeing to anything. We raise the intended use early so there are no surprises.

Do I even have the rights to share this data?

Often that is the central question, and sometimes the answer is no. Client records are bound by confidentiality and professional rules, and de-identification does not by itself settle those questions. We help you identify what to ask. We do not give legal advice, and you should involve your own counsel.

Is the conversation confidential?

Yes, we treat what you tell us as confidential and use it only for the review. Please keep the call descriptive: don’t share client names, files or personal data. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how it is used.

How is Valued Data compensated?

The Opportunity Review is free. Valued Data may receive compensation for qualifying referrals if a purchasing partner and you reach an agreement. We disclose that relationship before you authorize an introduction. Eligibility, terms and payment depend on the partner’s review and your agreement.

What happens after I book?

We’ll email you to confirm a time for a 20-minute call with Daniel. After the call we’ll tell you whether we see a plausible fit. You can stop there. Nothing moves forward without your written authorization.
